How to Set Up This MCP Server

MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers extend your AI assistant with external tools and data sources. Follow these steps to install GitHub MCP in your preferred AI coding tool.

1. Copy the install command from the installation section above
2. Open your AI tool's MCP configuration — in Cursor, go to Settings → MCP Servers; in Claude Desktop, edit claude_desktop_config.json
3. Paste the configuration into your MCP settings file
